Customer acquisition is one of the hardest challenges startups face.
- There are hundreds of marketing channels and tactics to try. Deciding where to focus is overwhelming.
- It's more expensive and more complicated than ever to acquire customers.
- The channels you used to get traction aren’t scaling or producing consistent results.
- The sales you're able to produce are unprofitable, and you can't afford to scale your efforts.
And your options aren’t great
- Searching for content yourself. If you try to find great growth content on Google, you'll likely waste critical time. And without a growth background, you won't know what to trust.
- Buying a course. Regardless of your goals or business type, you go through the same curriculum as everyone else. They're usually long and boring, and fail to show you how to execute in a short amount of time.
- Hiring marketers or agencies. Hiring top marketers requires shelling out thousands of dollars per month. They're often slow to act, they prioritize large clients over startups, and fail to achieve results.
What you need instead is assurance that you're working on the right strategy. And a breakdown of exactly how to pursue it. You need a way to consistently acquire customers—we call this a “growth engine.”
A growth engine combines a scalable marketing channel, irresistible product messaging, and a high-converting funnel to profitably generate new customers at scale.
With a growth engine, you get:
- Meaningful growth: Get a constant and predictable flow of customers to grow revenue.
- Profitability and efficiency: Acquire customers profitably so you can reinvest back into your engine.
- Peace of mind: Have confidence knowing you're prioritizing the right initiatives.
- Focus: Most companies scale using only one growth channel. You'll be able to align your team and resources around the highest-leverage strategy for your company, freeing you up to run the rest of your business.
Here's what growth looks like with and without a growth engine:

With the Growth Program, you can build a growth engine yourself without wasting money on agencies that don't get your business. All while building in-house expertise to take control of your company's growth.

Here's how you'll use the Growth Program to build your growth engine
First, you'll select your program path. A tailored plan that will guide you through the program based on your company stage and product type. There are six paths for startups in the traction stage (you need to acquire your first customers), as well as those in the growth stage (you're ready to pursue high-scale channels).
Then you'll breeze through quick, actionable frameworks to build a solid foundation as a growth leader. You'll reverse engineer how your product actually grows, and learn how to take a systematic and holistic approach to growth.
- Intimately understand your market and ideal customer: Get inside their minds and understand how they think, the problems the face, and how your product uniquely serves them.
- Develop your brand: Most startups think brand is only for late-stage companies. Not so. You'll learn why investing in brand early can give you a massive advantage over the competition and serves as a critical growth amplifier.
- Design a seamless onboarding experience to get new users to experience your product's core value.
- Write and design high-converting landing pages to maximize the performance of your acquisition channels.
- Set up analytics and conversion tracking so you can accurately assess how your growth engine is performing and identify areas for improvement.

Growth Program Guarantee
If after 30 days you’ve done the work and haven’t been able to launch at least one channel, we’ll give you a full refund. No questions asked.
Thousands of startup founders and marketers have used the Growth Program to get traction and scale revenue. Here’s what they’re saying:
I've learned so much as a new marketer that probably would have taken at least a few months and considerable stress. The confidence boost I have now when running campaigns and publishing projects is unparalleled.
You learn the tactics Bell Curve uses to grow their clients. When I wrote the growth book, Traction, I hoped someone would build a course like this.
This is the team you want to learn growth from. They know every channel and every tactic. And they know how to scale efficiently.
The Demand Curve course might be the most valuable thing I've done for my career. They really helped me develop a growth mindset. The course allows you to tailor your experience to serve the needs of your business, and every project you do contributes to growth in a direct way.
We landed two big meetings using their cold outreach strategy — while we were still in the course.
The Demand Curve team knows paid acquisition, conversion, landing pages, and a lot more very well. If you’re lagging behind on your growth skills, let them teach you what you’re missing.

Questions we're most often asked.
Absolutely not. You have lifetime access to the content. You can work through the program at whatever pace suits you and your team.
1. Other courses are full of filler, with very little application.
Other courses are focused on long, extremely comprehensive and theoretical content. And while there’s a time and place for that type of program format, it leaves very little room for real-world application. We do things a little differently.
Above all else, our program is designed to produce growth results as efficiently as possible. We do this by flipping the traditional teaching process/program structure on its head. Instead of optimizing for things like high page counts or “hours of video content”—which leads to curriculums that are 80% reading and only 20% doing—we work hard to include only the best content so the bulk of your time is spent doing real growth work. In fact, our program is structured to be 20% reading and 80% implementing what you’ve learned.
2. Other courses are designed for very senior growth practitioners and late-stage companies.
These programs are fantastic for those looking to learn advanced theory and high-level skills. Our program is designed for those looking for actionable frameworks, strategies, and tactics that can be applied immediately to begin growing their businesses.
3. Other courses only focus on 1-2 channels.
Many courses dive into just one topic — your typical Facebook or SEO courses. Our Growth Program is much more comprehensive. We teach you how to develop a growth strategy, build and manage growth channels (you’ll get 25+ channel playbooks), design landing pages, optimize your conversion rates, and much more.
Yes! If after 30 days you've done the work and haven't been able to launch at least one channel, we'll give you a full refund.
Absolutely. We have dedicated program paths designed specifically for the earliest-stage startups (we refer to these startups being in the “traction stage”). The program will take you step by step through identifying your ideal customer, nailing your product positioning, building your funnel, and testing “traction channels” that enable you to acquire your first customers as quickly and affordably as possible.
Quite frankly, because it works. You’ll acquire the skills that 1000’s of companies have used to produce hundreds of thousands and even millions in incremental revenue. We strongly believe (and have data to prove) that the program is one of the highest-ROI investments a company can make.
For example, take a look at this case study on how we helped Doopoll increase their revenue by 800%.
Or this one describing how Astra increased their conversion rates by 2x and their monthly active users by 4x.
Many companies hire premium agencies and consultants for $10,000+ per month and never see those kinds of results. And that’s why we stand by our claim that for a single payment of $1,200, this program is one of the best investments a company can make.
Yes, absolutely. The course can be taken from anywhere in the world.
Yes! In fact, we’ve created tailored program paths for the following company types:
- B2B software
- B2C software
- Mobile apps
- Service providers
- Education products
We’ve found the program to be effective for nearly all verticals and business models. But if you have any questions, drop us a message in the customer support widget on the bottom-right corner of the site.
Here’s the general process:
- Each module begins with fundamental readings. For example, if you’re learning to write landing page copy, there are readings on how to write a good landing page.
- Then you start the project itself. Keeping with our landing page example, the project will walk you through the process of actually writing the copy for your landing page.
- While you do the project and readings, there's an active community of top marketers and founders to bounce ideas off of.
Everything is asynchronous so you can do the work on your own time and at your own pace.
It depends on your goals and where you’re starting. If you’re building your growth engine from scratch, you can have a strong funnel, marketing assets, and your first channel up and running within 6 weeks if you dedicate a few hours each day to the program. From there, you have lifetime access to work through any areas of the program as you tackle new growth initiatives. For many, there isn’t necessarily an “end” to the program. Especially for marketers, the program serves as an on-the-job resource that you can lean on at any point throughout your career.
One last note: Unlike many courses, this isn’t meant to add more work to your regular day-to-day. The program guides you through and expedites the work you’re already doing to scale your startup.
It depends on your goal and background. If you've been in a leadership/management position and are now in an execution role at a startup, the Growth Program could be a great fit.
Additionally, if you're an experienced channel specialist and are now in a generalist role, the Growth Program could a great fit. Bottom line, if your top goal is growing a startup (as opposed to studying advanced theory or achieving deep subject-matter mastery in just 1-2 areas), the program is likely a great option.
Our program is a fit for anyone looking to learn how to acquire new customers and scale their business through modern channels, tools, and frameworks: primarily founders and business owners, junior marketers, startup employees, and even senior marketers who come from a different area of expertise and/or want a refresher on the latest channels and tactics.
Marketing agencies and full-time hires are great options for many companies. But they come with their own set of pros and cons when compared to our programs.
The major upside is the expertise and bandwidth they bring to the team. The biggest downside—especially for cash-strapped startups—is the high cost. Good agencies generally start at a minimum of $5,000/mo (many charge much more). Full-time hires can easily cost $100,000+ per year. They also come with a level of risk and commitment that shouldn’t be ignored. A full-time hire is a long-term investment. And many agencies require commitments between 6-12 months. So, if you have the budget and mainly need additional labor to scale acquisition channels that are already working, then hiring may be a good idea.
However, if you’re tight on budget and your primary goals are building a foundation for growth, and testing acquisition channels to find the ones you can scale, then we recommend starting with our program. We’ll teach you how to produce the same results as an agency or full-time hire, at a fraction of the cost and without the risk.
An ad budget isn’t necessary to be successful with the program. Some startups aren’t a fit for ad channels to begin with. Others may simply want to focus their efforts on organic channels. In these cases, the program will guide you through the steps to evaluate and prioritize the best organic channels (we cover more than a dozen organic channels in the program) to focus on.
That being said, if ads are a viable channel but you have a limited budget, you can get valuable learnings by investing as little as $1,000-2,000.

How does it work day-to-day?

I’m an experienced growth marketer trying to up my skills, is the program right for me?

You get access to the exact strategy and tactical playbooks used by our team as well as other leading growth experts.
Outcomes & results above all else
Most marketing courses and content (even advisors) focus on the “what” and “why.” They give lots of ideas of what you could be doing to grow. We go deep on the “how.”
Our playbooks walk you step by step through the process of identifying the highest-ROI opportunities for your specific business and how to execute.
Tailored to your startup
No two startups are identical. So why do traditional courses put everyone through the exact same curriculum? The Growth Program provides 12 paths to choose from - tailored to your startup’s stage and product.
